How to Make Chai Tea

One of my favorite hot drinks of all time is chai tea. Watch the following video and see how you can make this fantastic drink in just a few easy steps.




SERVING SIZE: 2 CUPS


Ingredients


1 & 1/2 cups of water

2 tsp brown sugar

2 tsp tea leaves

crushed fresh ginger

1 cup milk

*mortar & pestle

*strainer

*small pot



Steps:


1) Put water, tea leaves, brown sugar, and crushed ginger in a small pot. Bring to boil and then turn to simmer for 2-3 minutes.


2) Add the milk and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. (For stronger chai, let it simmer a bit longer.)


3) Strain into a cup & ENJOY!
